In our own life of faith, we’re prone to having a distorted view of Hope. We look at hope through our feelings instead of through our faith. Too many of us pray, “God forgive me for what I’m about to do” instead of praying “God, keep me from doing what I don’t want to do!” That is what it looks like when the believer surrenders their hopes to God’s grace!
